Stephen Foster who used to live in Missouri is the murder victim by his girlfriend Brittany Wilson in Cape Girardeau.
Officers rushed to a residence in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at 11 p.m. Friday and discovered Brittany Wilson, 32, at the doorway with a sword in the front yard, according to local television station KFVS-TV.
The Cape Girardeau Police Department said in a statement that she had blood on her clothes.
Wilson admitted to authorities that she and Foster had used methamphetamine earlier in the day.
She reportedly informed police that she felt Foster was harboring numerous other entities and that she was releasing them by stabbing him.
Wilson was being detained in a place of a $2 million bail on Sunday. She is accused of first-degree murder and armed criminal activity.
It was unclear if Wilson had retained a counsel to speak on her behalf.
