In the video, Melanie said: ‘I’m back on Tinder and I’m not handling it well’

She explained how she ‘replied a bit strongly’ after his opening line.

Melanie captioned the video: ‘Since filming this, I am no longer on tinder.’

The clip has since been viewed more than one million times, with one saying: ‘Justified! If that’s his opening line, imagine the rest.’

Another wrote: ‘Sounds like the perfect response to me.’

Many sided with Melanie’s response, suggesting the man had it coming after his ‘pretty sexist’ comment while others simply saw the funny side to the joke.

‘Girl, the only way to reply is to be honest,’ one said, while a second added: ‘Looks like you were handling it very well,’ along with a laughing emoji.

In another video, Melanie showed a message she received from a stranger who made a bizarre proposition.

‘How much to buy your feet pics?’ the person asked. Melanie responded: ‘1 million dollars,’ to which the person replied: ‘Deal’.

Melanie said in the video: ‘I didn’t expect this to happen… Very romantic opening line, I just threw a figure out there. Um…

‘If I have a yacht in my next TikTok video, it’s not even related. Honestly, I could never do that.’

Last year, the young comedian finally got to meet the prime minister.

‘Kia Ora everyone it’s me Jacinda Ardern, I obviously have a lot of fans out there so I like to get selfies with my fans sometimes,’ Melanie, who was dressed like the PM, said in a now-viral TikTok video with more than 1.6 million views.

Moments later, Ms Adern appeared in her video, acting as if she was the fan.

‘Hi, what’s your name,’ Melanie asked, to which Ms Adern replied ‘Jacinda,’ while giggling as the pair placed their arms around each other for a selfie.

‘Ah nice to meet you. Okay that’s enough now,’ the impersonator said as she pulled away from Ms Adern.
