Adalia Rose Williams was a YouTube star whose videos got millions of views as they spotlighted her life with the premature aging disease Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome.

Williams was diagnosed with progeria as a baby, as is typical for the disease that causes rapid aging and leads to early death in the teens or 20s. She began sharing videos on YouTube in 2012, singing “Jesus Loves Me” in her first video. Williams gained millions of followers as she branched out to feature makeup tutorials, unboxing videos, cooking videos, and more as she spread awareness of life with progeria. Fans came to love her exuberant dancing and infectious laugh. Williams’ fans included fashion designer Michael Costello, who created custom dresses for her.
